Special Clinics & Outreach Programs

Dedicated to making cancer care accessible to every woman, Dr. Aswathy leads several special clinics and outreach programs that extend far beyond hospital walls. Her mission is to promote early detection, education, and compassionate treatment, especially among underserved and high-risk populations across India.

Through her outreach initiatives, Dr. Aswathy has organized and conducted multiple cancer screening camps across various states, focusing on cervical and other gynecologic cancers. These camps provide free or low-cost screening services such as Pap smears, HPV testing, and basic gynecologic exams — ensuring that even women in remote or economically disadvantaged areas receive timely care.

A unique aspect of Dr. Aswathy’s work is her commitment to HIV-positive women, a group particularly vulnerable to cervical cancer.

She has led specialized camps exclusively for HIV-positive patients, offering them respectful, stigma-free care tailored to their unique medical and emotional needs. These camps not only provide treatment but also deliver much-needed education and counseling for long-term health.

In addition to her rural and special-population efforts, Dr. Aswathy runs preventive oncology clinics at PRS Hospital, where women can access early diagnosis, vaccination, and personalized risk assessment. These clinics focus on empowering women through awareness and education — key steps in reducing the burden of gynecologic cancers in India.

Dr. Aswathy also collaborates with NGOs, public health bodies, and women’s health organizations to advocate for regular screening and cancer awareness at a community level. Her public seminars, school programs, and training sessions for local healthcare workers help spread lifesaving knowledge across generations.

Through her special clinics and outreach efforts, Dr. Aswathy ensures that high-quality cancer care is not a privilege, but a right — accessible, inclusive, and rooted in dignity for all women.
